Far from Equilibrium Acrylic on Canvas, 16"x 20", 1998
Jessie Gietl
A periodic attractor (nonchaotic) that
might be found in nature. Future predictions based on this model are accurate, because
an attractor is stable--in a state of equilibrium. In the real world, a repetition such
as this would likely slow down, stop or otherwise move far from equilibrium after some time, unlike its mathematical
portrait. Part of the Chaos on Canvas series. Available for sale.
